As a curtain-raiser to the upcoming World Engineers Summit (WES) on Climate Change 2015, The Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES) will jointly host the ’Engineers and Sustainable Development’ Forum with U Associates, NTUC. This is a complimentary forum for engineers, technologists, industry specialists, product and solution providers.

At the forum, participants can gain a valuable head start from insights into the integral roles of engineers in realising sustainable development. Mr Chan Chun Sing, Secretary-General, National Trades Union Congress and Minister, Prime Minister’s Office, will be opening the event as the Guest-of-Honour. He will be joined by business, engineering and sustainability leaders. Speakers and Panellists include Ms Goh Swee Chen, Chairperson, Shell Singapore and Dr Sanjay C Kuttan, Director and Country Manager, Clean Technology Centre, DNV GL-Energy. Moderator is Mr Constant Van Aerschot, Executive Director, Business Council for Sustainable Development Singapore.
